1. Elaboration of the Techniques of Optical Fields Correlometry

2. Singular Optics
-
The study of singular structures and their systems connected with various parameters of electromagnetic field. Investigation of singular networks as skeletons of electromagnetic field determining the structure and behaviour of the field in each point. The study of singular structures in partially coherent and polychromatic optical fields. Investigation of the development scenarios and elaboration of the diagnostics techniques of amplitude zeroes in monochromatic and polychromatic fields.

Elaboration of new directions in the reconstruction of scalar field phase by the distribution of its intensity on the base of the analysis of the systems of particular points.

Development of new devices of micro- and nano-technology, optical tweezers constructed according to the principles of singular optics.

3. Holographic Techniques in Optics and Information Processing
-
Investigating phase-conjugated and associative properties of non-linearly recorded holograms.
-
Studying the structure of edge diffraction wave (according to Young-Rubinovich diffraction model) and elaborating its application for the problems of holography and singular optics.

Applying the principles of referenceless holography and in communication and optical processing of information.

4. Laser Polarimetry and Spectrophotometry of Biotissues
-
Investigation of statistic, correlation, fractal characteristics of polarizationally inhomogeneous scattered fields and biotissues images. The search for diagnostic interconnection between the set of optical parameters of biotissues images and those characterizing the transformation of optical-geometric structure, architectonics of the images.
-
Development of new ways of pre-clinic optical diagnostics of pathological changes in human biotissues.
